InnerChange
InnerChange provides educational, treatment, and recovery programs for adolescent girls and young women experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties. The company currently owns and operates three residential treatment campuses in Utah operating under the names New Haven and Sunrise, and three residential treatment campuses in Texas collectively known as Fulshear Ranch Academy.
In February 2006, CIC Partners teamed with the co-founder and Val Christensen, a successful operator in the healthcare industry, to provide expansion capital and strategic support. CIC made follow-on investments in September 2006 and May 2007 to fund the company's acquisition activities. CIC General Partner Drew Johnson, CIC Operating Partner David Michel, and Jim Smith, a CIC Advisory Partner, all serve on the company's board of directors. Mr. Michel, a man with extensive experience in healthcare, technology & media related enterprises, also serves as President and CEO of InnerChange.
