Marshall Payne
Marshall joined CIC Partners in 1983 and serves as a Partner of the firm. He is a director of Arcadia Exploration, Bagby Energy Holdings, LP., CTI Foods, Dale Gas Partners, Schuepbach Energy and Triumph Pacific Oil and Gas Company. He is a former director of Ace Cash Express, Inc. (NASDAQ: AACE), Restoration Hardware (NASDAQ: RSTO) and various other private companies. In addition, Marshall serves on the Advisory Council for The Laura Bush Foundation for America's Libraries, and on the Board of Advisors and School of Humanities, Arts and Sciences at Stanford University. He received his BS from Stanford University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Michael Rawlings
Michael is a Managing Partner of CIC Partners. From 1997 to 2003, he was President of Pizza Hut, Inc. (NYSE: YUM), the largest pizza chain in the world. Before joining Pizza Hut, he was CEO of DDB Needham Dallas Group (formerly Tracy-Locke), the largest marketing communications agency in the Southwest, whose clients have included Frito-Lay, Pepsi, GTE and American Airlines. Michael currently serves as Chairman and Acting CEO of Legends Hospitality Management, LLC, as Chairman of River Point Farms and as director of CIC Advantage Holdings LLC and Red Mango, Inc. He is a former director of Ace Cash Express, Inc. (NASDAQ: AACE), Buffet Partners L.P., Quizno's, Signstorey and Vertis, Inc. Among his many civic duties, Michael serves as the City of Dallas Homeless Czar, a position to which he was appointed by the Mayor of Dallas, and he is a member and incoming Chairman of the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau. In addition, he is on the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and is an active lecturer at many universities, as well as an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University. Michael received his BA from Boston College.
Drew Johnson
Drew is a Partner of CIC Partners. He joined CIC in 1997 and previously worked at McKinsey & Company. Drew is Chairman of InnerChange and serves as a director of Combs Holdings, CTI Foods, OmniSYS and River Point Farms. He is a former director of Industrial Container Services, Quiznos, Thayer Aerospace and Worksoft. Drew received his BA from Brigham Young University and his MBA from Harvard Business School. He serves on the National Advisory Council for Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Management.
Fouad Bashour
Fouad is a Partner of CIC Partners. Prior to joining CIC in 1999, he was an associate at The Boston Consulting Group, where he advised companies in business strategy and operations. Fouad serves as a director of Bagby Energy Holdings, LP, CIC Advantage Holdings LLC, Red Mango, Inc., Schuepbach Energy and Triumph Pacific Oil and Gas Company. Fouad previously served as a director of Buffet Partners, L.P. and GreenLeaf Auto Recyclers LLC, where he served as co-chairman, as well as other private companies. He received his BA from Duke University, where he was a recipient of the Angier B. Duke scholarship.
Amir Yoffe
Amir is a Principal of CIC Partners. Prior to joining CIC in 2002, he worked in JP Morgan's Mergers and Acquisitions group in New York. Amir serves as a director of Combs Holdings and OmniSYS. Amir received his BS from Cornell University and his MBA with Distinction from the Harvard Business School.
Jonathan Dyer
Jonathan is a Principal of CIC Partners. Prior to joining CIC in 2005, he worked in Bear Stearns' Investment Banking group in Dallas. Jonathan received his BBA from Texas Christian University and his MBA from the Wharton School.
Matthew Doherty
Matt is an Associate with CIC Partners. Prior to joining CIC in 2008, he worked as an analyst with Citigroup’s Investment Banking group in Dallas, TX. Matt received his BBA summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin, where he majored in Business Honors and Finance.
Katherine Chu
Katherine is an Associate with CIC Partners. Prior to joining CIC in 2008, she was an analyst with Goldman Sachs in its Investment Banking group in New York. Katherine received her BSBA summa cum laude from Georgetown University and was the recipient of the Reverend Joseph S. Sebes, S.J. Award.
Diane Gross
Diane is Vice President, Finance of CIC Partners. Diane received her BBA at Western Michigan University and her MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business. She is a licensed CPA in Texas.
Jim Smith
Jim serves as a Director of CIC Partners and is an active participant in new deal evaluation, execution and our firm’s governance. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Gartner Group (NYSE:IT), and previously served as Chairman, President and CEO of First Health Group Corp. (NASDAQ: FHCC), leading the company through nearly 20 years of record growth and profitability. Jim, who founded the company in 1984, built First Health into the nation’s premier full-service national health benefits company, with revenues of $894 million in 2004. He recently led the sale of First Health to Coventry health Care, Inc. (NYSE: CVH) for $1.8 billion. Jim serves on the Board of Directors of CIC Partners and is active in new deal evaluation and execution. In addition to his role on CIC’s Board of Directors, Jim is a Director of CIC portfolio companies OmniSYS, LLC and InnerChange.
Aaron Enrico
Aaron joined CIC Partners in 2004 and serves as a Principal of the firm’s CIC Advantage Holdings LLC. His previous experience includes management consulting and marketing for McKinsey & Company, International Management Group (IMG) and the U.S. Olympic Committee. Aaron is a Managing Partner of Enrico Investments LLC and serves as a director of Red Mango, Inc., FEMO Holdings LP (dba MosquitoNix), Giggle, and Seven Mile Suites, Ltd. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas and on the AFI Dallas International Film Festival Advisory Board. Aaron received his BA from Duke University and his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
